Things To Do

Charleston City Market

Open from 9:30-5:00 this is one of Americas oldest public markets and is our favorite place to buy art when we visit!

188 Meeting Street

Carriage Tour

A must-do if you have never been to Charleston! See different parts of the city from a horse drawn carriage!

Fort Sumter

The birthplace of the civil war, Fort Sumter is in the Charleston Harbor and is a short boat ride away

Places to Eat

Husk

Our absolute favorite restaurant in Charleston and a must-do if you have never been before!

86 Queen Street
Reservations highly recommended - We also love the Husk bar and patio right next door, they take walk-ins starting at 4:00!

Millers All Day

If you are looking for a breakfast restaurant, look no further. Millers is our favorite and there's a 98% chance you will see us there every morning we are in Charleston!

Will's pick for breakfast: shrimp and grits
Hadley's pick for breakfast: king street bowl or a Millers plate add a side of grits with cheddar cheese

Darling Oyster Bar

One of our favorite places to grab oysters! The baked oysters are also fantastic!

513 King Street

Poogan's Porch

We will be having food from Poogan's for the welcome dinner but if that isn't enough for you and you need more classic Charleston cuisine, Poogan's is the place for you! We love the pimento cheese fritters, the shrimp and grits and the cast-iron peach cobbler is a must!

72 Queen Street

Carmella's

Dessert shop and a bar wrapped up in one, Carmella's is our favorite place to end the evening or to just grab a mini carrot cake or a key lime pie!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

The dress code for the wedding is black tie, meaning tuxedos for men and floor length evening gowns for women.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4 pm, we kindly as that you arrive 15-30 minutes prior to this to prevent the church doors being shut when you arrive.

Is transportation provided?

The church is about 12 steps from our reception venue so no transportation needed!

Is there parking?

There is no parking at our church or reception venue. There is occasionally street parking available on Hasell Street but otherwise, you will have to find a paid lot a block away. Charleston is very walkable so we recommend walking to the venue or taking an uber if the Charleston streets are too much in heels!

Can I bring a guest?

We are so excited to celebrate our big day with our closest family and family friends. Due to our small and intimate venue size, we are only able to accommodate the individuals listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they will be listed on your invitation.

Are children invited?

While we love kids, we kindly request our ceremony and reception to be adults only!

When should I RSVP by?

October 20th 2026

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have hired an amazing photographer to capture the entire evening and kindly request that you do not take pictures during the ceremony as it will make photos more challenging for our professional photographer if you are holding a phone up.

What will the weather be like?

Charleston in November is truly the best, it is usually around 70 degrees and sunny during the day and the temperature drops slightly at night. Our reception will be both indoor and outdoor if the temperature is a concern!
